What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser. Websites can also use browser storage and similar technologies to maintain functionality, remember choices, or measure activity.
Training registration
The training form uses temporary page memory to hold your entries while you complete it; its current implementation does not save those entries in cookies or local browser storage. A service selection may be reflected in the page URL. Submitting sends the information to the registration service described in our Privacy Policy.
Essential services
Hosting and security services may use essential cookies or request information to operate and protect the website. The cookies used by deployed infrastructure can differ from those in the website’s application code. Contact us if you need details about a cookie seen on this site.
Analytics and advertising
The current frontend does not include an application-level analytics or advertising cookie integration. This does not describe cookies on external websites you visit through links, or cookies added by hosting infrastructure.
Images and YouTube videos
The Science Communication Training gallery loads thumbnails from YouTube’s image servers. These requests disclose connection information such as your IP address to the provider even without playing a video. Gallery watch buttons open YouTube in a new tab, where YouTube may use cookies under its own policies. Other externally hosted images likewise contact their providers. The hero MP4 is served from this website rather than an embedded YouTube player.
Managing your choices
Your browser settings let you inspect, block, or delete cookies and site storage. Blocking essential cookies may affect parts of this or linked services. Avoid opening external media if you do not wish to use those providers. For provider-specific choices, consult the privacy and cookie settings of the external service.
Updates
If optional tracking tools or embedded media are introduced, this policy and any required choice controls should be updated before those technologies are enabled. The date above identifies the latest revision.
