The 2019 Global Food Policy Report by International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) reviews the major policy developments of 2018 and focuses on rural revitalization as a promising way to achieve the 2030 development agenda and improve rural lives. Policies, institutions, and investments that take advantage of new opportunities and technologies, increase access to basic services, create more and better rural jobs, foster gender equality, and restore the environment can make rural areas vibrant and healthy places to live and work for generations to come. ISAAA: Accomplishment Report 2018

ISAAA is a not-for-profit international organization that shares the benefits of crop biotechnology to various stakeholders, particularly resource-poor farmers in developing countries, through global sharing of knowledge and support to technology development. In the year 2018, ISAAA Centers continued to provide science-based information on appropriate technologies to facilitate informed decisions about crop biotechnology acceptance and use. In addition, the Centers intensified support services including capacity building for policy makers and scientists; regulatory oversight on issues such as biosafety and food safety; impact assessment, and science communication. Get the full publication here
