Symposium on Climate Change Adaptation in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Region

What: The Symposium will focus on “Accelerating Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation in the MENA region.” The event will therefore serve the purpose of showcasing experiences from research, field projects and best practice to foster climate change adaptation among countries in the region.

The UN Science-Policy-Business Forum on the Environment
When: 8 – 10 March, 2019
Where: Nairobi, Kenya
What: The Forum will be held in the lead up to the Fourth Session of the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA 4). The event promotes opportunities for green investment, driven by advances in science and technology, empowering policies and innovative financing. Recommendations from the Forum will inform the UN Environment Assembly and the UN’s work on the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement.
