The eighth meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (COP MOP 8) is taking place in Cancun, Mexico between 2nd-18th December 2016. ISAAA AfriCenter, the African Biosafety Network of Expertise Development (ABNE), national biosafety focal points and other like minded partners are supporting the participation of African party states in these international biosafety negotiations.
